The Marcos Agave Story
Marcos Agave and his late wife Jennifer started bringing surplus fire equipment to Mexico in 2015. They traveled to many cities bringing donations and training the firefighters “Bomberos” and paramedics. As medical professionals they shared their knowledge and made many friends, one of which is tour manager Blas Guzman. With Jennifer’s favorite places in memory, Marcos Agave and Blas pursued their dream to share these places with you. Enjoy Jennifer’s tequila, cathedrals, and favorite foods. This is a dream come true to be a tour guide and to bring all of my knowledge together from the past 25 years in Mexico. My travels have introduced me to many different people who make this business possible. This experience is about you, and I have selected the best team to make your day special. Each member was met on the street, either in a hotel or tequila tasting room. I am a retired firefighter paramedic and continue to bring surplus equipment to Mexico because it is the big picture of this journey and business. I was born in Mexico and spent time in the United States at a young age, in Los Angeles and Atlanta with my dad. I returned to Guadalajara at age 7 to finish school and start working in this thriving city. As a restaurant manager later in life in Colorado, my English speaking became fluent, and I returned to the colony I love called Tlaquepaque, where I became a hotel manager to meet people from all over the world. Marcos Agave is my friend, and we created the vision of this experience for you. We met during the pandemic while I helped him and Jennifer load their car full of donation fire equipment here in Tlaquepaque at my hotel.
